Griffith Avenue and District Residents Association initiates a Petition....in relation to the “Walsh Road” Traffic Trial and barriers on Ferguson Road.

Griffith Avenue and District Residents Association initiates a Petition.

Following our recent AGM on 27th September 2017, and the anger and concern voiced by residents about the closure of Ferguson Road it was decided to start a petition. Residents volunteered to collect signatures door to door in the GADRA area and they will be calling to you over the next week or so. If you would like to get involved please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . We need volunteers to help collect at the schools and some of the other roads outside of the GADRA area that have been affected.

The wording on the petition is outlined below:-

We are requesting the immediate cessation of Dublin City Council’s “Walsh Road” Traffic Trial and removal of the barriers at the end of Ferguson Road forthwith to allow for inclusive and transparent consultation between all stakeholders, with the aim of improving traffic issues within the whole area to ensure the safety, quality of life and livelihood of all residents of Drumcondra and its environs.
